luka313 - Groove is in the house mix
DJ and producer. His interest in music was acquired somewhere in 1980's, when music genres such as Italo Disco, Synth Pop, and Soul/Funk were common on radio stations of that era. By early 1990's he already started to attend clubs in Zagreb like Aquarius and Amazona. Venues at Kulusic, Gjuro 2, Klub 88 were also popular, and not to mention legendary Club 1 where the likes of Dj Eddie & Dus held their residence, playing early nineties pop and mainly house grooves. Even though at that time his focus was not set primarily on house music, it will prove to be a very significant time in his life. Big influence on him can also be accredited to a programme called "Loops", that was being held in club Aquarius from 1995-1998, and was managed by two croatian dj legends Kiki & Frajman, it was at that time that he decided to become a Dj.
Started Djing in 1997 pretty much "Loops" influenced he adopts driving minimal techno style, but as times were changing his taste in music also started to change and by 2000 he began turning more and more to house music. Deep house sound is what caught his attention the most and was style of his choice throughout his humble dj career. Even though he wasn't some big name on the scene, he had appearances in clubs like Tvornica, OTV dom and B.E.S.T. but also at smaller venues throughout city of Zagreb and beyond. After 2004 he puts his dj hobby in a state of rest and uses that time to explore other music styles. In 2010 he decides to return on the scene, appearing in Deep.Zg programme managed by Zagrebground crew in club Masters.
